Delete your BoopDiSnoot account
You can delete your BoopDiSnoot account at any time, in the app or by email. BoopDiSnoot is run by Akshat Srivastava.
In the app
- Open BoopDiSnoot and go to the Care tab (it is called Profile if you haven't added a pet).
- In Profile settings, tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE and tap "Permanently delete my account".
Your account is deleted straight away.
By email
Email hello@boopsnoot.in from any address with the subject "Account deletion request" and the mobile number on your account. We'll confirm the request is yours and delete the account within 7 days.
Deleted straight away
- Your account: mobile number, password, name, profile photo and sign-ins.
- Your pets' care records and reminders.
- Boops and playdate requests, and pets you saved or passed.
- Adoption enquiries and preferences, booking requests and business applications.
- Your block list.
Kept, without your name or phone number
- Pets you added are hidden from everyone and unlinked from you. A pet you co-own with another pet parent stays on their account.
- Alerts you posted are closed and hidden.
- Adoption listings you posted are paused.
- Messages you sent in chats show as "[message removed]".
- Reports you made are kept so we can keep the community safe.
Backups
Our nightly database backups are kept for 14 days, so deleted data is gone from them within 14 days.
